Reservations
A Salon 427 Reservationist will coordinate a service experience specifically for your needs in the first available reservation time that fits your schedule. If you have a specific date and time you would like to come in, we recommend booking your reservation eight weeks in advance to ensure your desired date and time is available. We also offer a VIP Standby List for highly requested days and times from which we call to book from for schedule changes or last minute availabilities. We welcome Walk-Ins and same day reservations based on stylist availability. You may request a specific stylist to perform services for you or we can match you up with a stylist who we believe will best suit your personal needs.

Reservation Confirmations
Salon 427 reservations are often made weeks or months in advance and it’s easy to forget the date and time they are scheduled for. It is our commitment to remind our guests two days in advance of their scheduled reservation. We offer three convenient ways to receive your confirmation: Phone Call, Text Message, or Email.

Salon427 Policies & CommitmentsLate Arrivals and Cancellations
In the event you are running behind, please call the Reservationist and inform them of your expected arrival time. We will do our best accommodate your scheduled services within the timeframe available. However, there may be a circumstance in which running behind would cause your reservation to be rescheduled in order to prevent compromising the level of service you would receive.

We will attempt to contact any guest who is more than 15 minutes late for their reservation, if the guest is unable to be reached, the reservation will automatically be cancelled and offered to a guest on the VIP Standby List.

Cancellations or service changes are required to be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation. We are a reservation/appointment based salon which means service times are specifically reserved and set aside in advance for an individual guest. Canceling in advance allows the Reservationist to offer your reservation time to a guest waiting on the VIP Standby List. However, failure to arrive or to cancel a reservation in advance results in lost time and money for the scheduled stylist.

We understand that sometimes events occur that are beyond our control and may cause a guest to run behind or miss their scheduled reservation. However, chronic last minute cancellations or No Shows will require a minimum non-refundable deposit of $25 or 1/2 of the total scheduled services, whichever is greater. The deposit will be applied to the balance due during checkout or forfeited if the reservation is missed.

Guest Profile Information
Upon your first visit with Salon 427 we are required to collect personal information such as name, phone number and address. This allows us to properly set up a profile in our private database to store customized color formulas, service and purchase history. All guest information is kept strictly confidential and used in-house only. Due to liability and intellectual property concerns, color formulations and other professional data cannot be released.

Style with Knowledge
The Style with Knowledge portion of your service is a critical component for a successful Salon 427 experience. Our stylists will consult with you prior to starting any service in an effort to learn about your daily hair routine and hair history. Once you and the stylist feel they have a clear understanding of your desired look and style, the stylist will offer their professional recommendation on how to proceed with the service. Finally, the stylist will review pricing before getting started to prevent any anxiety over finances and allow you to thoroughly relax and enjoy the service. Stylists and team members will actively engage with you throughout the service and you are encourage to communicate with them to ensure personal goals and expectations are being met.

For the best possible results, it is recommended that any use of over-the-counter box color or chemical treatments be disclosed to the stylist during the Style with Knowledge. This will allow the stylist to formulate and mix chemicals properly.

Children and Accompanying Guests
Salon 427 loves your children, however, the salon maintains an energetic, creative, and professional environment with tools and equipment that are not always safe for them. Lobby seating is limited and Design Centers provide enough room for the Stylist and the guest receiving services ONLY. Children are NOT permitted to wait with their parents in the service area and we unfortunately do NOT staff Certified Childcare Providers to adequately supervise them while you enjoy services. Therefore, Salon 427 strongly encourages parents to arrange childcare prior to their scheduled reservation time.

We gladly provide services to children between the ages of 10-17. Parental supervision is required for any guest under the age of 17 who is receiving any hair color or chemical service. Parents must review and agree to pricing for the scheduled services prior to the service beginning.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY – Florida State Board law requires that any person not actively in the process of receiving services by a stylist, must remain in the reception area where gladly provide complimentary beverages, snacks, televisions, and wifi. If a guest is being dropped off, we’ll call their ride towards the conclusion of services and ask them to head back to the salon.

Atmosphere, Comfort, and Health Concerns
Please make us aware of any allergies, health concerns, or physical disabilities prior to booking services. This will prepare our team far in advance to provide the best possible service for you. We are happy to provide services to individuals with physical disabilities.
ALLERGIES – Many of the products we use contain natural ingredients such as soy, wheat, or beeswax and the infused water we offer is often full of fresh fruit which may aggravate allergies.

PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICES – In consideration for all guests enjoying services with Salon 427, please set your electronic devices to silent, and speak in a whisper while relaxing in our Wash House.

PETS – With the exception of Certified Service Animals, pets of any kind, by State Board Law, are not permitted to enter any area of the Salon facility at any time.

SMOKING – For the comfort and safety of all guests, we do not permit cigarette, e-cigarette smoking or Vaping anywhere inside the salon.

VALUABLES – Salon 427 recommends wearing comfortable clothing and insists that guests leave valuable items at home or in a secure location. Salon 427 does NOT accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or broken items brought in by a guest.

Payment
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and gift cards purchased from Salon 427. Checks are NOT accepted.
Gratuities are not included in the pricing for any Salon 427 services or treatment. If you wish to offer your stylist gratuity, you may do so at the time of check-out. 15-20% of service total is a standard guideline when calculating gratuity for service providers.

What if I’m not happy with my service?
It is our commitment to make sure you love your hair and will do everything we can to make it so. If any part of your experience does not meet your expectation, please let us know right away, or within seven days of your service and we’ll do everything we can to remedy the situation. Though refunds for services received cannot be granted, we will do everything we can to assist and satisfy you.

Professional Care Products
As a part of our service to you, we educate each guest about the products we choose to use during the service. We select products based on a very personalized basis and believe the selections will help maintain or repair the health of your hair, preserve the color vibrancy between visits, and help you to consistently recreate the same style at home.
If any product you purchase from Salon 427 fails to meet your expectations, we encourage you to discuss the concern with us right away so we can better serve your needs. We’ll gladly exchange products within their first three uses and within 30 days of purchase date for products of greater or equal value with a receipt.
